Proper 10C: “Go and Do Likewise”

The readings today at St. Andrew’s, in Burt, NY, are Deuteronomy 30:9-14, Psalm 25:1-9, Colossians 1:1-14, and Luke 10:25-37. We explore the familiar parable with new eyes, considering who’s in and who’s out in this new perspective, and we consider this within the context of our baptismal vows which calls us to a new experience.
